What We Accept
What We Pay for Bulk Homeware
Homeware varies widely in value. These are typical per-item prices for bulk postal lots — lighter items attract better rates because shipping costs factor into our offer.
| Item Type | Condition Required | Typical Price Range |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen gadgets (whisks, peelers, utensil sets) | Unused / Good | £0.30 – £1.50 per item |
| Mugs, cups and small crockery | Good (no chips) | £0.20 – £0.80 per item |
| Picture frames (A4, A5, mixed sets) | Good | £0.30 – £1.20 per item |
| Candles and candle holders | Unused | £0.50 – £2.00 per item |
| Decorative ornaments and vases | Good (no damage) | £0.30 – £1.50 per item |
| Storage and organiser sets | Unused / Good | £0.50 – £3.00 per item |
| Bedding (pillowcases, throws, cushion covers) | Unused / Good | £0.50 – £2.50 per item |
Prices are per item within a bulk lot. Heavier items may attract lower per-item rates as shipping costs affect the overall offer. We do not buy single items.
What Affects the Price We Offer?
- Weight: Because your lot is posted to us via courier, heavier items cost more to ship — this affects how much we can offer. Lighter items (mugs, frames, small kitchen pieces) get better per-item rates.
- Condition: Unused or like-new items command significantly more than visibly used pieces. Items with original packaging add value.
- Variety vs consistency: A consistent lot (e.g., 30 matching mugs) is easier to resell and often attracts a better offer than a very random mixed lot.
- Brand: Recognised brands (Cath Kidston, Emma Bridgewater, Joules, John Lewis own-brand) attract higher rates than unbranded homeware.

How to Prepare Your Homeware Lot
Check for damage
Set aside chipped, cracked or broken items. Only include pieces in sellable condition — it leads to faster, better offers.
Estimate weight
Give us a rough sense of the total weight if you can. Heavy lots affect what we can offer due to courier costs.
Take an overview photo
A photo of the full lot laid out helps us assess variety, quantity and condition at a glance.
