1. About StockLeads
StockLeads ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based item buying service operating at stockleads.co.uk. We purchase small bulk lots (10–500 units) of secondhand and surplus items from sellers across the UK and resell them via online marketplaces.
We are a buyer, not a marketplace or intermediary. When we purchase your items, we are buying them for our own resale.
2. The Submission Process
By submitting your items via our form at stockleads.co.uk/sell, you are inviting us to make an offer on your items. A submission is not a binding contract and does not obligate either party.
We aim to review all submissions and respond within 48 business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays).
3. Our Offers
Any offer we make is:
- Non-binding until accepted in writing (via email) by both parties
- Conditional on the items matching the description provided in your submission
- Subject to review — we reserve the right to adjust an offer if the actual items differ materially from the submitted description
- Valid for 7 days from the date of our email, unless otherwise stated
4. Your Right to Decline
You are under no obligation to accept any offer we make. You can decline at any time before collection without any charge or penalty. We will not pressure or chase sellers who decline an offer.
5. Collection
If you accept our offer, we will arrange a collection at a mutually agreed time. Collection is free of charge to you. We collect from any UK address.
Items must be reasonably packaged and ready for collection at the agreed time. If items are not ready at the agreed time, we may need to reschedule (charges may apply for repeated failed collections).
6. Payment
Payment is made on or shortly after collection, at the agreed offer price, via bank transfer. We do not pay cash. Payment is typically made within 1–2 business days of collection.
If items collected differ significantly from the agreed description, we reserve the right to renegotiate the offer. If no agreement can be reached, items will be returned at no cost to you.
7. Item Condition and Accuracy
You agree to provide an accurate and honest description of your items when submitting. Misrepresentation of condition, quantity or item type may result in a revised offer or cancellation of the transaction after collection.
You confirm that you are the legal owner of the items submitted and have the right to sell them.
8. Items We Decline
We reserve the right to decline any submission or refuse to purchase any items for any reason, including (but not limited to):
- Items outside our accepted categories
- Items in poor condition not described accurately
- Items below our minimum quantity (10 units)
- Items we believe may be counterfeit or stolen
- Items that present a health, safety or legal concern
9. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you in connection with any transaction shall not exceed the value of the agreed offer price for that transaction. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
